Fender Blues Junior Amp

The amp is the only one I have that is modern, er, sort of. It has tube circuitry for most of the signal path, but uses a solid-state rectifier and reverb driver/recovery. This is also my only master-volume amp and, unlike most Fenders, it is powered by 2 EL-84 tubes, best known for their use in British amps such as VOX and Marshall. That probably explains why it sounds better with this guitar than with my Strats. Historically this cabinet design/covering/grill cloth combination was used only on the 1964 Champ.
