Fender '59 Bassman Reissue Amp

This amp is a reissue of the famous 1959 Fender Bassman, arguably the finest guitar amplifier ever made. I have retubed this one to the original 1959 tube complement. This varies from the original in that it uses a printed circuit board instead of hand wiring. It has 4 10" speakers with cobalt magnets, made to the original specs. Although I risk structural damage to the house every time I play it (50 watts from a pair of 6L6 tubes), this amp gives me the sweetest clean sound I have ever had. It has a great overdrive sound, but I can't drive it that loud where I live now due to room size and proximity to neighbors.

Pictured here with my 1996 SRV Stratocaster, this amp sounds great with any guitar and can be dialed in for just about any type of music.
