Welcome to my Karsten Family Tree. Most of the genealogical information I have accumulated as of 26 April 1998 is here on this site. I say most because I have deliberately removed certain facts about family members. No details are included for living relatives or any other person born within the last 100 years, even if that person is deceased.
If you are a relative of mine and are descended from Ernst W. Karsten or one of his siblings, then I have pretty complete data about you which I have gleaned from my mother's family. If you would like a more complete copy of my data, please contact me. If I know you I would be happy to share all my data, including sources, with you. If I don't know you, contact me through my mother, Joan DeWitt and she will arrange an introduction to ensure that you are really a relative, rather than some sleazeball looking for a scam.

I am trying to get as much information about my family as possible. So far I have pretty good data about the Karstens both forward and backward, and Kummrows going backward. I really need information about the Huenekes and Joachims going both backward and forward and the Kummrows going forward.
